1.2.1 This bid solicitation is being issued to satisfy the requirement of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. It is intended to result in the award of multiple contract(s) to all compliant Bidders from contract award to March 31, 2026 with three (3), one (1) year option periods.
1.2.2 Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) is seeking contractor(s) for the conduct of chemical analysis for pesticide residues on crop samples collected from field trials at several Canadian locations, in accordance with the requirements of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Principles of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) (rev 1997), study plans and amendments and Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency “Residue Chemistry Guidelines” (PMRA Guidance Document, Updated Residue Chemistry Guidelines - Canada.ca). The data generated by these trials will be used in regulatory submissions to the Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) for new minor uses of pesticides.
1.2.3 AAFC anticipates the initial contract to be valid from contract award to March 31st, 2026, with up to three one-year option periods, with the final option period anticipated to expire on March 31, 2029.
1.2.4 AAFC anticipates the value of the contract(s) to be up to $487,500 per year excluding any applicable taxes, dependent on the number of contract(s) awarded. The value of $487,500 would be attributed to only one awarded contract.
