Mississippi Valley Division Civil Works Areas of Interest Commercial Solutions Openings

The Mississippi Valley Division (MVD) of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is issuing a Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) to solicit innovative commercial products, technologies, and services that address critical civil works challenges. Authorized under federal law and Department of Defense acquisition regulations, this CSO allows MVD and other DoD agencies to award contracts to one or more offerors based on their submissions. The primary goal is to identify novel solutions that fulfill operational requirements, close capability gaps, or contribute technological advancements in areas related to waterway navigation and flood risk management. Key areas of interest include maintaining authorized channel dimensions to support navigation and production efficiency, developing materials and repair methods for navigation structures, conducting comprehensive above- and below-water imaging of said structures, locating submerged subsurface objects, predicting sedimentation in navigable waterways, improving navigation and flood risk management project delivery, and implementing non-structural dry floodproofing techniques. Responses to this special notice must be submitted by May 28, 2027.
