NESP LD25 1200 ft Lock --------- The new lock at Lock 25 will be constructed in the downstream direction in the auxiliary miter gate bay, which has minimum provisions for an adjacent 360-foot-long lock and is referred to as Location 3 in the System Feasibility Study (September 2004). This contract will consist of construction of a new 1,200-foot drilled shaft-founded lock in the auxiliary miter gate bay, a 1,200-foot upstream ported guard wall, and a 650-foot downstream guard wall.
