Northside Park Site Improvements

The County of Greenville is soliciting proposals from qualified general contractors for site improvements at Northside Park in Taylors, South Carolina. The scope of work includes comprehensive renovations involving demolition of existing pavement, fencing, and amenities, as well as the installation of new heavy-duty concrete paving, a 27'x40' pavilion shade structure, and expanded athletic courts including additional pickleball courts. The project also encompasses site work, grading, stormwater treatment, and landscaping, including the installation of sod and specific UltraSite branded park furniture. All work must adhere to building codes and the full intent of ADA Title II guidelines. The project is scheduled to begin with a Notice to Proceed on December 28, 2026, with construction starting January 1, 2027, and a desired completion date of May 15, 2027. Proposals are evaluated on a 25-point scale across five equally weighted categories: responsiveness, experience, references, pricing, and project-specific approach. Awarded contractors must provide a Performance and Payment Bond for the total contract price and maintain all required insurance. Payment is based on monthly invoicing with a 30-day term, and the County will withhold 10 percent of each payment until the project is satisfactorily completed. Liquidated damages of $250 per day apply if the work is not completed within 90 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. All submissions must be received electronically via the County's procurement portal by November 25, 2026.
