The Madison LakeWay – SkyLine Improvements are the culmination of a multi-year collaboration among public and private partners to create a more welcoming, accessible, and vibrant public shoreline along Lake Monona. The project will provide a green, inviting linear parkway along one-half mile of shoreline adjacent to John Nolen Drive. The project scope builds upon work completed under the John Nolen Drive Reconstruction project (WisDOT Project# 5992-11). The new SkyLine shoreline amenities include two boardwalks, a pier, pedestrian-scale site lighting, enhanced paths, seating and bicycle amenities, wayfinding signage, and extensive site landscaping. This single contract is for the construction of the Madison LakeWay – SkyLine Improvements for the Madison Parks Division.
