General Information
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for non-commercial products prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)/Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Subpart 13.2, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.


Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), located in Indian Head, Maryland, intends to award a firm-fixed-price (FFP) purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Mk 77 Heat Shields and Heat Shield Retaining Clips. This solicitation will be competed as a total small business set-aside.


Solicitation Details
Quotes are being requested under Request for Quotations (RFQ) N0017426Q1082. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332710 and the associated small business size standard is 500 employees.

Basis for Award
The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible vendor whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The Government intends to evaluate all timely quotes received from eligible vendors on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. The Government intends to evaluate quotations and award a purchase order without discussion.

  • Technical: Quotes must reflect the required specifications and the exact brand specified in the Statement of Work.
  • Price: Quotes must include all applicable costs, including shipping and handling.
