MLI for SSR2 CMS

Fermilab is seeking to procure 65 fabricated Multi-Layer Insulation (MLI) blankets for use in the SSR2 Cryomodules of its PIP-II project, with each blanket conforming to detailed technical specifications under Procurement Specification ED0047237. The MLI units are designed with 10–30 layers of aluminized PET film and polyester net or Vitrulan microfiber glass fabric, requiring strict control over thermal performance, dimensional accuracy, cleanliness, and surface integrity to prevent contamination or compaction.
