AI Contract Overview
The U.S. Army’s DEVCOM AvMC is pursuing a consortium-based Other Transaction (OT) authority to advance sensor technologies critical to ground-based and ground-launched fires capabilities. Interested vendors must first enter into a Consortium Member Agreement (CMA) to gain eligibility for subsequent classified Request for White Papers (RWPs), which will be issued exclusively to consortium members. This structure ensures that only pre-qualified entities can participate in the development of advanced sensor systems, including algorithms, software, hardware, subsystems, and complete systems, through modeling, simulation, experimentation, prototyping, demonstration, and assessment. The focus is on enhancing the Army's defensive, offensive, and integrated fires modernization efforts, with technical requirements centered on ground-based applications. The solicitation, identified as W58SFN-26-R-0059, was posted on July 8, 2026, with responses due by July 23, 2026, and falls under NAICS code 541330 for engineering services. All activities will be administered by the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence, located at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, with Tracy M. Manush and Tonya M.
