The procurement process involves submitting bids electronically via MissouriBUYS, with provisions for hard copy submissions if notified in advance; email submissions are not accepted. The contract size is estimated to range between five million and twenty million dollars, reflecting the scope and scale of the anticipated procurement. The solicitation emphasizes detailed submission requirements, including specifications for the utility beds and dump bodies, vehicle compatibility, installation responsibilities, and optional features. The process involves a Price Quote Request Form that solicits information about the proposed products, including brand, model, and quantities, to ensure they meet the agency’s operational needs. The primary point of contact for this procurement is Ashten Lorts, who can be reached via email for further inquiries. This initiative aims to streamline the procurement of durable, compliant truck bodies to support MoDOT’s transportation infrastructure projects across Missouri, ensuring quality and consistency in fleet upgrades and maintenance.
