This Sources Sought announcement is published FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. No solicitation is available. Responses to this notice are NOT offers and CANNOT be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.



Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is seeking to identify sources capable of supporting a Firm Fixed Price contract to inspect, report, make approved repairs and test a Hansome Energy Systems motor rotor assembly. Work requires access to OEM proprietary data, drawings, and information in addition to submarine maintenance standards. 



This sources sought notice is a market research tool being utilized to identify potential and eligible firms capable of providing these services prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Quote (RFQ). As such, all interested parties are encouraged to respond. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
