Description: (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number FA8101-15-Q-0024 is being issued as a request for quotation. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-81. (iv) This acquisition is 100 percent set aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423210 with a size standard not to exceed 100 employees. (v) Listed below are the contract line item numbers, quantities, and unit of measure. Please indicate if the item is open market or GAS contract item. Three double sided moving units, SSGAR7M 15'x52"x6'2 3/4" with 25" deep rack bays, back-to- back with a 2" flue space between units. Overall length must be 16'6" with an overall width of 20' 9 3/4". All rack bays me be provided with four beam levels per face and flat metal decking. All levels must have 1,000 lb. capacity per level. All levels must be adjustable up and down on 1" increments and must lock-in with toolless compression locks. Track will be surface mounted on top of a concrete slab. Rail must be no higher than 3/8" with two beveled edges to 1/8" and must be OSHA compliant. This rail system eliminates the need of a raised wood floor deck. Mechanical-assist carriages feature a three-spoke hand and a visually indicated positive on and off anti-roll safety lock. Units must be geared to 1:4,000 lbs. all moving units must have built-in and fully adjustable clutch brake to eliminate any possible drifting of units. Access aisle must be 4'4 3/4". Installation must be provided turnkey by current year factory certified and trained personnel. Warranty must provide five year warranty on moving parts, one year on labor, and lifetime on rack bays. The government will award a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The other factors considered will be the ability to meet the salient characteristics of the items above. Award shall be based on best value to the government.
