Full Description

The U.S. Marshals Service, Justice Prisoner and Alien Transportation System (JPATS) intends to negotiate and award a Sole Source purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13) to Nixtek Solutions, Inc., 11310 Kings Valley Road, Damascus MD 20872, for the proof of concept design and development of the Movement Packet (MPAC) system. This requirement is for a base period of six (6) months and one (1) option year. This notice of intent is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a request for offers. Proposed contract action is for services which the Government intends to solicit only one source. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to the requirement by providing written notification to the point of contact (POC) no later than 12:00 pm (noon) EST, July 25, 2016. Supporting evidence must be furnished in detail to demonstrate the interested party's capabilities to perform the requirement for development of the Movement Packet (MPAC) system. Responses received will be evaluated, however a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
