MQ-1/MQ-9 Multi-Spectral Targeting System Repair Data Analysis

FA8620-06-G-4041 0017 MQ-1/MQ-9 Multi-Spectral Targeting System (MTS) Repair Data Analysis: This is a pre-solicitation synopsis. The Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC), 703d Aeronautical Systems Group (703 AESG) intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems Texas for MQ-1/MQ-9 Multi-Spectral Targeting System (MTS) Repair Data Analysis. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems Texas is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the MTS and associated software for the MQ-1/MQ-9 aircraft and has been identified as the only firm that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience, and technical data required to perform this effort. The Government does not own full data rights for the system; therefore to avoid duplication costs, the Government intends to award the effort pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1.
