The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a one time, sole source basis to: Ramaker & Associates, 855 Community Drive, Sauk City, WI 53583 for the purpose of conducting a tower survey and modification plan in order to install a remote ACRx tower node located on Mt. Alutom, Guam. This will entail construction drawings, engineer licensing, geotechnical investigation, structural analysis, tower modification and foundation modification design. The site management company, Dokomo Communications, has stated that Ramaker & Associates is the preferred vendor for preparation of construction drawings, structural analysis, and a tower modifications report for the Mt. Alutom Tower. As Guam is consistently humid, made of volcanic and basalt rock, and subject to typhoons, any proposed tower modification for new equipment must undergo a rigorous review and approval process requiring a number of geotechnical studies. The resultant contract will fulfill the FBI's requirement to install an antenna in a suitable location for coverage and visibility to effectively conduct the missions of the FBI. The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested parties may identify their interests and capabilities by responding to this requirement to the attention of: Jill Valentine, email address: contact@example.gov by Friday, September 30, 2022 (10:00pm Eastern). Emailed responses will only be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is at the discretion of the Government.
