This contract modification updates the procurement strategy for the Multi-Angle Imager for Aerosols (MAIA) project, initially posted in 2017 under the title "Multi-Angle Imager for Aerosols (MAIA) Hosted Payload Services." The primary change includes a revision of the procurement title to "Multi-Angle Imager for Aerosols (MAIA) Hosting Services" to emphasize that the MAIA instrument does not need to be hosted on a dedicated single spacecraft or as part of a multi-payload spacecraft. Instead, the government is open to various proposed solutions for providing hosting services, expanding the scope of potential offers. Additionally, this modification marks a transition to a new synopsis and solicitation number (80LARC18R0004) for all future postings related to this procurement, discontinuing use of the original synopsis. The contract seeks sources for hosting services related to the MAIA instrument, focusing on flexibility in spacecraft hosting arrangements. Contacts for the solicitation are listed as Karen Dempster and Michael Kaszyca, with the solicitation categorized under NAICS code 541715, indicating research and development in physical, engineering, and life sciences.

This is a modification to synopsis MAIAHPS2017 entitled "Multi-Angle Imager for Aerosols (MAIA) Hosted Payload Services" which was posted on July 31, 2017. The purpose of this notice is to provide potential Offerors updated information regarding the procurement strategy and identify/revise key upcoming milestones. NOTE 1: The title for the procurement has been renamed to "Multi-Angle Imager for Aerosols (MAIA) Hosting Services" (vice "hosted services") to clarify that there is no assumption or requirement that the MAIA Instrument be a dedicated (single) spacecraft payload or one of several spacecraft payloads. Rather, the Government will consider a variety of Offeror-proposed solutions for hosting services. NOTE 2: This original synopsis will no longer be utilized for any future postings. All future postings will be contained under synopsis/solicitation number 80LARC18R0004 with the above renamed title. Please reference the attached document for additional information.

Fast Assessment of Solutions, Therapeutics, Pharmaceuticals, and SupplieS (FASTPASS) Innovative Solutions Opening
Solicitation # ARPA-H-SOL-26-160
The Fast Assessment of Solutions, Therapeutics, Pharmaceuticals, and Supplies (FASTPASS) program, under solicitation ARPA-H-SOL-26-160, is an initiative by the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) to develop a near real-time, non-destructive, AI-enabled screening system. The goal is to identify contamination, adulteration, and quality defects in pharmaceutical products through their packaging at ports of entry and other supply-chain nodes using multi-modal sensing and data fusion. This 54-month program is structured into three 18-month phases, culminating in a fieldable platform with validated training materials and integrated documentation capabilities. This procurement is conducted as a multiple-award Other Transaction (OT) Agreement rather than a standard federal contract, meaning it is governed by specific OT articles instead of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. Awards are based on the most advantageous proposals, with primary evaluation factors including innovation, soundness, execution planning, risk management, and team expertise. Payments are fixed and triggered by the successful completion of milestones, managed through the Payment Management System. Proposers must be registered in SAM.gov and provide detailed technical and cost proposals, including a milestone payment schedule and research security disclosures. Amendment 01 specifically updated the cost proposal narrative model and workbook to correct typographical errors and rename appendices.
