Multi TD Pickle Meadow Grid Reliability and Maintenance Project (Notification of Lake or Streambed Alteration, No. EPIMS-MOO-52758-R6)

The Multi TD Pickle Meadow Grid Reliability and Maintenance Project, identified by Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-MOO-52758-R6, is an infrastructure initiative executed by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife for Southern California Edison. Located in Mono County, California, the project focuses on restoring and rehabilitating electrical infrastructure along Buckeye Creek, Robinson Creek, Swauger Creek, and tributaries of the East Walker River to meet public health and safety standards. The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of 15 wooden poles, the installation of nine new wooden poles and two new anchors, the transfer of utility lines at each pole location, and vegetation trimming. The project is authorized under Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code and is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to California Code of Regulations, title 14, section 15301(b and d). Environmental impacts are estimated at a temporary impact of 0.107 acre and a permanent impact of less than 0.0005 acre of resources subject to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
