Municipal Virtual Net Metering (VNM) Offtake Solar Developer

The Town of Stratford is inviting proposals from qualified solar developers to establish a municipal Virtual Net Metering (VNM) system aimed at offsetting the town's electrical consumption through solar photovoltaic energy. This initiative is aligned with Year 4 of the Non-residential Renewable Energy Solutions program (NRES Program), targeting State, Agricultural, and Municipal properties, under the administration of United Illuminating (UI). The chosen developer is expected to deliver up to 5,300,000 kWh annually to reduce the Town's electrical load.
