NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT This requirement is for the Department of National Defence (DND) for cleaning, maintenance, adjustment, and/or repair of musical instruments on an “as and when requested” basis. The intent of this solicitation is to establish one (1) contract for an initial period of three (3) years, with the possibility of extending the duration of the contract by two (2) optional irrevocable periods of one (1) year each, under the same conditions. Time Frame of Delivery: For planning purposes, most of the Work is required to be performed from September to March of each Contract year however there is a requirement for all services to be available on an ad hoc basis for the complete Contract Period. All services are also required on an Emergency basis for the Contract Period. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR BIDDERS For services requirements, Bidders must provide the required information as detailed in article 2.3 of Part 2 of the bid solicitation, in order to comply with Treasury Board policies and directives on contracts awarded to former public servants. Security Requirement: There is no security requirements associated with this requirement. Location of Services required: The primary musical instrument pick-up and drop-off location is at 1745 Alta Vista Drive, Ottawa, ON. The secondary musical instrument pick-up and drop-off location is at Carleton University, 1125 Colonel By Drive, Ottawa, ON, K1S 5B6.
