PRESOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT: VA261-12-R-0697 Due: Apr. 20, 2012 (est) Request for Proposal (RFP) - Preventative Maintenance and Repairs to Data Networking Services (one year) for VA customer locations connected over coaxial and/or fiber-optic cable for VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System. This is a sole source procurement due the fact that this is maintenance of an existing system. Also cancellation of this service would involve termination fees that are far above the yearly maintenance cost. The NAICS code is 517919, size standard of $25.0 Million applies. Product Service code of N060 applies. The actual solicitation should be posted on or about April 12, 2012. Telephone requests will NOT be accepted. Solicitation is also subject to availability of funding. Price includes all parts and labor to repair any failure due to a manufacturer or installation defect; and one site visit during the warranty period for service or repair. Quotations shall be submitted on an all or nothing basis. Partial quotations will be rejected. Quotations shall be valid for 60 days from offer due date. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-57.
