For Information Only: The VA VISN 22 Network Contracting Activity (NCA) intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with ArjoHuntleigh to install Patient Lift equipment. This procurement is being conducted under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1), FAR 6.302-1 due to the unique requirements of the Patient Lift equipment and contractor that can only be met by the use of this contractor as installer. This authority applies when supplies or a service required by the agency is available from one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for a competitive proposal and no solicitation will be made available. All inquiries should be made within 3 days of this notice.
