The Bureau of Land Management Arizona State Office intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract to Advanced Composting Systems for the installation of a prefabricated composting toilet at the White Pocket Trailhead. This project involves the specialized transport, on-site assembly, system integration, commissioning, and operational training for an ACS Model GC1F1TH building donated by the Foundation for Americas Public Lands. While the government will provide gravel for site preparation and assist with transport to the remote location, the contractor is responsible for delivering a fully operational system. The requirement falls under NAICS code 321992 and is designated as a small business set-aside. Although this is a notice of intent for a sole source award, interested parties may submit a statement of capabilities to rachel_henriques@ios.doi.gov by August 21, 2026, to demonstrate that competition would be advantageous to the government. All costs associated with submitting such statements are the responsibility of the respondent.
