N00019-13-C-0048 Modification for Last Time Buy of Obsolete Parts

The Naval Air Systems Command, Air Combat Electronics Program Office (PMA209), intends to award a contract modification to Honeywell International, Albuquerque, NM, for the procurement and storage of the following parts: Intersil/Elantec Video Amplifier (P/N EL4093CS), Cypress NVRAM (P/N CY14E256L-SZ35X), Cypress FIFO (P/N CY7C4251-10AI), Vitesse Fiber Channel Receiver (P/N VSC7126QX), Micron SRAM (P/N MT48LC2M32B2TG-7IT:G), and Xilinx FPGA (P/N XC2V1000-5FG456I). Honeywell is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the Advanced Multi-Purpose Displays (AMPD) & Advanced Multi-Purpose Color Display (AMPCD), and as such, is the only source capable of procuring, managing, and storing these parts to protect production and life cycle support of the AMPD & AMPCD. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under statutory authority 10 U.S.C 2304 ( c )(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6-302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This effort is inextricably linked to work already being performed by Honeywell International under contract N00019-13-C-0048, which was awarded using other than full and open competition.
