INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 4 (NCO4) intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price, one (1) year contract for preventative maintenance and service for the Brain Lab, Image-Guided surgery platform, to Brainlab, Inc., 5 Westbrook Corporate Center, Suite 1000, Westchester, IL 60514 for the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System. This sole source determination is in accordance with FAR 13. 500 (a) Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is: 339112, Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing. The Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard is: 1000. The PSC code is: N065, installation of equipment medica, central, and veterinary equipment and supplies. This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for quotes. Interested vendors that can provide this requested service must respond no later than 12/29/2022 by 09:00 AM EST.
