NAEMT TACTICAL EMERGENCY CASUALTY CARE (TECC) COURSE

The City of Charlottesville Fire Department has issued solicitation RFQ 27-35 for the provision of NAEMT Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) course instruction. The selected vendor will be responsible for conducting three training sessions, each consisting of 16 hours of instruction split over two days, utilizing both classroom and hands-on methods. The project aims to train a total of 63 students, with 21 participants per session, and must be completed by June 30, 2027. Upon successful completion, all participants are required to receive both a 4-year NAEMT TECC Provider Card and a formal course completion certificate. Interested offerors must submit their responses by the deadline of September 11, 2026, at 6:00 PM. While a Certificate of Insurance and endorsements are not required at the time of proposal submission, the successful contractor must have all required insurance coverage in effect before performing any services. This includes delivering certificates of insurance to the City and providing endorsements that name the City, its officials, officers, employees, agents, and volunteers as additional insured. Furthermore, the contractor is obligated to provide the City with 30 days of prior written notice before any substantial modification or cancellation of their insurance coverage.
