Full Description
The intent of this solicitation and any resultant contract is to obtain fixed-wing aircraft operated by qualified and proficient personnel and equipped to meet specifications contained herein. Aircraft and contract personnel will be used for the administration and protection of public lands. Relief personnel may be required to provide daily (7-days per week) coverage during the period of performance/mandatory availability period as specified in the task order.
The aircraft furnished may be used for special use missions supporting fire, project, resource, law enforcement, and point-to-point administrative flights. If the Contractor agrees to perform law enforcement flights, such agreement shall be in writing.
The government has interagency and cooperative agreements with federal and state agencies and private landholders. Aircraft under contract may be dispatched under these agreements for such use.
