National Trails Highway at Bridge 85 (Lamego Ditch) Replacement Project

The San Bernardino Flood Control District is planning to replace the existing two-lane bridge at National Trails Highway over Lamego Ditch with a new concrete structure that meets current safety standards for two-lane bridges, including upgraded guardrails, end treatments, roadway approaches, and rock slope protection. The new bridge will feature two 12-foot-wide travel lanes, two 3-foot-wide shoulders, and two 2-foot-wide railings, with potential modifications to length and height to adequately manage anticipated storm flows. To maintain traffic flow during construction, a temporary parallel road will be established to serve as a detour for through-vehicles. The project is forecasted for future procurement and is located in San Bernardino, California, with the engineering manager, Arlene B. Chun, identified as the primary point of contact for inquiries.
