New Boston Space Force Station (NBSFS) is seeking to modernize its aging server and services infrastructure, which currently operates a mixed environment of physical and virtual servers across its NIPRNET and SIPRNET enclaves. Many of these servers are nearing end-of-life and end-of-service, posing significant risks to mission operations, cybersecurity, and system reliability. To address these deficiencies and align with Department of the Air Force Instruction (AFI) 17-140, which mandates industry best practices for hardware refresh cycles, NBSFS requires a comprehensive modernization of its server and services infrastructure.
