AI Contract Overview
The contract calls for the procurement of medicinal nebulizer units, each complete with a mouthpiece, tee, 7-foot tubing, and 6-inch flex tube, with a total unit quantity of 50. The items must be commercially packaged according to the specifications outlined in the procurement documents, ensuring each unit is securely sealed in suitable containers to prevent damage during shipment. Packaging must comply with Medical Marking Standard No. 1, replacing previous MIL-STD-129 requirements, to ensure proper identification and handling throughout the supply chain. The items are to be packed in commercial or export shipping containers tailored to meet the lowest transportation costs while securing safe delivery to the specified point. The contract incorporates technical and quality requirements set forth in the DLA Master List, with compliance guided by the revision in effect at the solicitation or award date, depending on acquisition size. Specific provisions include removal of government identification from non-accepted supplies and adherence to DLA packaging requirements. The solicitation is managed by the Department of Defense’s Medical Supply Chain, with a delivery location at Windsor Locks, and a delivery timeline of 20 days after the order date. Vendors are required to specify the source and part number of the nebulizer units they propose to supply, ensuring adequate data accuracy for the assigned NSN (6515-01-466-0371). The procurement is facilitated through a federal solicitation process with a response deadline in late April 2026.
