The Hawaiʻi Department of Health (HDOH) seeks to fund one vendor to coordinate and implement needs assessment and strategic planning for hepatitis B virus (HBV) elimination programming in Hawaiʻi. Activities for this project include: - Conduct, summarize, and share needs assessment of key partners, programs, and data sources in collaboration with HDOH and community members like Hep Free Hawaiʻi (HFH) by July 2026; - Coordinate, facilitate, and summarize virtual planning and follow-up meetings to inform an HBV strategic plan for Hawaiʻi from June to December 2026; - Plan, facilitate, and summarize one in-person convening for HBV strategy development on Oʻahu with HDOH, HFH, and key partners in July 2026; - Develop and share final HBV strategy document and related materials for HDOH, HFH, and key partners by December 2026; This project will fund one vendor for HBV needs assessment and strategic planning activities. The vendor must demonstrate experience with viral hepatitis elimination planning as well as previous work in Hawaiʻi.
