AI Contract Overview
The Nenana Public Library is seeking bids for Category 1 Internet Access and Data Transmission services and Category 2 Managed Internal Broadband Services (MIBS). For Category 1, the library requests download speeds ranging from 10Mbps to 1Gbps via fiber or non-fiber options. Bidders must specify the transport delivery method, whether circuits are dedicated or shared, and provide detailed pricing that separates eligible costs, ineligible costs, and one-time non-recurring charges. Any data caps, overage fees, and leased equipment details must be included. Contracts must state that payment is contingent upon state and federal funding. For Category 2, the library requires MIBS equipment and licensing capable of bandwidth quota setting, usage tracking, device prioritization, and content filtering. Bidders must separate the cost of eligible services from ineligible services, such as malware blocking. Vendors may bid on either or both categories, but must clarify if the MIBS portion is required for the internet service. All submissions must be received within 35 days of the Form 470 posting to avoid disqualification. Additionally, successful bidders must agree to provide discounted billing and invoice USAC via a Service Provider Invoice.
