Full Description

This is a competitive 100% Small Business Set-aside Invitation for Bid (IFB). The acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 237130 with a size standard of $36.5 million. This acquisition will be handled as an IFB prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 14 and 36. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated. The project magnitude is estimated between $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. Place of performance will be the Topock-Black Mesa transmission line, the Peacock-Prescott transmission line, and the Prescott-Gavilan Peak transmission line in the following Arizona counties: La Paz, Yavapi, and Maricopa counties. This project consists of furnishing all necessary labor, supervision, materials, licenses, permits, insurance, transportation, and equipment necessary to remove and replace 2.2 miles of 345kV conductor; remove and replace 3.5 miles of 230kV conductor; and remove and replace 4 transmission line structures, hardware, insulators and conductor. All work shall be in strict compliance with the specifications and drawings.
