New City Park

The City of Lemoore proposes to acquire and develop approximately 2.76 acres as a new public neighborhood park known as Cinnamon Park. The site currently contains a residence and associated improvements. The residence and improvements would be removed as part of park development. The current planning program includes a multi-generational splash pad; musical/sensory playground; pump track; 2 to 4 pickleball courts; walking/fitness loop; outdoor fitness stations; pollinator and wellness garden; multi-use turf/open green space; prefabricated public restroom; approximately 0.23-acre parking area; shade sails/structures; benches and picnic tables; trash receptacles and related furnishings; at least 40 trees; drought-tolerant landscaping and water-efficient irrigation; lighting; fencing; accessible circulation; stormwater improvements; and necessary utility connections. The final configuration will be refined through community-based planning and subsequent design.
