New Wate Truck

The Colquitt County Board of Commissioners is soliciting sealed bids for the procurement of one new water truck for use by the Road and Bridge Department. The required equipment must include a new truck chassis and body with a 2,000-gallon water tank and a minimum 33,000 GVWR chassis. Bidders are required to provide a comprehensive submission including body and chassis specification checklists, warranty confirmations for the engine, transmission, frame, and cab, and a pricing sheet that details the cash bid price, applicable government discounts, and the total price if paid via a County Purchasing Card. Sealed bids must be submitted to the County Purchasing Department by October 20, 2026, at 10:10 a.m. The successful vendor must provide up to four hours of instruction for fleet maintenance and sanitation operators at the county shop and on county routes at no additional cost. Additionally, the vendor must furnish a complete set of hard and digital manuals, including operator instructions, lubrication guides, shop maintenance manuals, and various technical diagrams at the time of delivery. Payment terms are set for thirty days after delivery, although payments made via County Purchasing Card may be processed immediately. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any bids and waive any formalities.
