THIS IS A SYNOPSIS NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or request for proposal and no purchase order will be awarded from this notice.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Acquisition Division (EAD), on behalf of the Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO), is soliciting for the Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) repairs to NOAA Ship HENRY B. BIGELOW. The HENRY B. BIGELOW is 209 feet long overall and its home port is Newport, RI.
The performance period will begin immediately after award for procurement of long lead time materials and equipment, planning, and other logistics requirements for the successful performance of the contract. The repair period for work on board the NOAA Ship HENRY B. BIGELOW is estimated to be 14 months, with an estimated start date on or about February 15, 2028 and an estimated completion date on or about April 14, 2029. Ship’s transit time to and from the place of performance is not included in the specified repair period.
