The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Strategic Acquisition Center – Frederick, intends to negotiate and award a sole-source, Firm-Fixed-Price contract to La Place Glass Holdings, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), for the procurement and installation of dual-reflective window tint in support of the VA facility located at 8000 Metropolis Dr., Bldg. B, Austin, Texas.


The resulting contract will include a base period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of award, with no option periods.


This action is contemplated under the authority of 38 U.S.C. § 8127 and VAAR 819.7008, which authorizes VA contracting officers to restrict competition to, or set aside an acquisition for, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, and to make sole source awards to SDVOSBs when the applicable statutory and regulatory conditions are met.
