The Navajo Area Indian Health Service's Kayenta Health Center in Arizona plans to enter into a firm-fixed price, sole source contract with Henry Schein Practice Solutions for Dentrix, an Electronic Dental Record (EDR) software. This software system supports digital management of patient records, treatment planning, clinical charting, procedure coding, and patient billing. The contract is designed for one base year plus four option years, and is being executed under the federal regulation allowing sole source procurement when only one supplier is reasonably available for a particular product. The anticipated award falls below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold, justifying the sole source approach because Dentrix is unique to Henry Schein. This notice is not a solicitation but invites other potential providers to submit capability statements electronically by May 25, 2026, if they believe they can supply a comparable product. However, the Government is under no obligation to respond or acknowledge these submissions and may decide to proceed without competitive procurement. Communication relevant to this procurement must be in writing, directed to the Contract Specialist Brandon Martinez, and oral communications are not accepted. The ultimate decision to move forward with the sole source award rests solely with the Government.
