Noise Tested Bearings IDIQ

The Department of Defense, through NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Mech, is soliciting an unrestricted Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the manufacture of Noise Tested Bearings in accordance with MIL-DTL-17931. The contract has a minimum value of 500 dollars to be satisfied at award and a maximum ceiling of 60 million dollars. The government intends to award the MAIDIQ to all qualifying responsible offerors who provide conforming proposals and fair and reasonable pricing, regardless of cost, as price is not a factor for the initial award. However, subsequent delivery orders will be awarded based on the best value, considering factors such as price, delivery speed, urgency, and the contractor's capacity to perform the work. The scope includes all items listed in the five-year forecast and any new bearing configurations. Contractors must adhere to strict quality and administrative standards, including DoD unique identification for applicable items, the use of the Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF) system for invoicing, and specific packaging levels based on shipment destination. Compliance with DFARS restrictions on ball and roller bearings, cybersecurity reporting under DFARS 252.204-7012, and hazardous material labeling via GHS and SDS is required. Inspection and final acceptance will be conducted by the government at source, with production lot testing required to ensure all deliverables meet the specified product definitions.
