LFRFP 260019, Roadway Materials Laboratory Testing Services (North) The Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways (Ministry) requires the services of a Consultant to provide the following roadway materials testing services: Check testing and laboratory services related to asphalt mix, granular aggregate, soil, and salt materials. Asphalt concrete mix design and testing services for Ministry surfacing projects. Preparation of asphalt concrete correlation samples and performance of appeals testing for End Product Specification (EPS) asphalt concrete projects. Training of Ministry staff to perform various asphalt mix and aggregates tests. Additional requirements: This laboratory location will be used by the Ministry as the destination point for the shipping and delivery of all materials samples, where proximity or equivalent logistical arrangements are necessary to minimize delays and support timely testing outcomes. To facilitate prompt and accessible delivery and testing of samples by various Consultants and/or contractors, the main laboratory is required to be located within a 25-kilometer radius of the Ministry’s office location at 126 105th Street East, S7N 1Z3 in Saskatoon. The lab will primarily focus on testing material from projects located in the central and northern areas of the province, where efficient access and turnaround times are operationally critical.
