The roles and functions needed in room A136 will change. The NATO Communications and Information Agency will cease to use the NATO space as a CIS server room in Jun 2025. HQ SACT intends to re-role the space into a multifunction administration center for transformation activities. Using NATO funding, the scope covers: deep clean, paint and replace obsolescent furniture and fixtures, and add multi-function displays, desk space for 40 personnel, NATO Secret and NATO Unclassified VTCs. It is not intended to amend the structural layout of the floorspace, however, it will include options to add movable walls for flexible workspace options for collaborative work. We seek, confirmation that this work can take place in the lead up to and during the major fire detection system upgrade managed by NAVFAC in area F.1. during 2025 and early 2026. HQ SACT aim to complete works coincident with the re-occupy milestone for F.1.
