The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) is seeking to retain a qualified geotechnical engineering consultant to complete an investigation of subsurface conditions beneath an existing interior floor slab within an occupied post-secondary educational facility. The objective of the assignment is to determine the nature and extent of any subsurface conditions contributing to observed slab settlement, differential movement, cracking, heaving, voiding, or loss of support and to provide recommendations for remediation and future redevelopment considerations. The facility will remain operational during the investigation, and the Consultant shall plan and execute the work to minimize disruption to students, staff, faculty, and facility operations.
All Quotations submitted to the Owner must remain valid offers for a period of at least 60 days from the Quotation due date.
