Description - This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 


Solicitation number 1240LT26Q0053 -  is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Reconstruction of the Northern Hills Ranger District parking lot to fix structural, grade, and drainage problems. To ensure public health and safety and increase public access, The parking lot is poorly constructed with inadequate sub-base and little base gravel. Soil under gravel is clay-rich and holds water, causing settling, cracking, water infiltration, freeze/thaw breakup and heaving. Over 65% of the Parking Lot has alligator cracking. Project will reconstruction parking lot with proper base materials, regrade site and add drainage, add sidewalks and designated walking areas, improve accessible parking, and improve site lighting for safety.
