Solicitation Number: OS156601 Notice Type: Presolicitation Synopsis: Pursuant to the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), the Contracting Officer may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available. The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Program Support Center (PSC), Acquisition Management Services (AMS), on behalf of the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE) intends to sole source to: Truven Health Analytics 7700 Old Georgetown Rd Bethesda, MD 20814 Truven Health Analytics shall provide a twelve (12) month license for Truven's MarketScan Commercial, Health Risk Assessment and Benefit Design Data for 2014; a 12 month license for continued access to MarketScan data for 2008-2013; and technical assistance to produce analytic data extracts and other basic data analyses. Truven Health Analytics is the sole developer and distributor of the MarketScan database. This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available.
