Solicitation # 80JSC026Q0014
Solicitation 80JSC026Q0014 is a combined synopsis and request for quotations issued by the NASA Johnson Space Center for a firm-fixed-price contract. The project seeks applied research and the development of current or novel approaches to surveil, reduce risk of, and prevent or treat venous thrombosis during spaceflight and exploration missions. The scope of work encompasses preflight medical screening, individual risk assessments, monitoring approaches, and both prophylactic and treatment countermeasures. Specifically excluded from this requirement are pharmaceutical treatments, AI/ML modeling, Earth-independent decision-making tools, and tissue chip or organoid pathophysiology development. The contract features a base period of performance from January 7, 2027, to September 30, 2031, with four optional years. This is a full and open competition for commercial products under NAICS code 541715. Commercial Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Destination Contract (CLDC) Technical Library
Solicitation # 80JSC025_CLDC_TECH_LIBRARY
The Commercial Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Destination Contract (CLDC) Technical Library, managed by the NASA Johnson Space Center, serves as a centralized repository of technical standards, plans, and guidelines for potential offerors. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to support the development of private LEO space destinations and supporting systems as NASA prepares for the retirement of the International Space Station. The library provides a series of data drops containing both controlled and uncontrolled technical data, including standards for docking systems, payload interfaces, and crew health operations. It also outlines specific NASA center capabilities and high-value engineering products available to industry partners to reduce technical and schedule risks. It is important to note that this activity is a special notice and does not constitute a Request for Proposals, Invitation for Bid, or Request for Quotation. No proposals are to be submitted in response to this notice, and it does not represent a commitment by the government to enter into a contract. Access to export-controlled content requires the submission of a specific request form and compliance with U.S. export regulations, including the implementation of Technology Transfer Control Plans and Non-Disclosure Agreements for foreign nationals. The library is intended to keep industry updated on current NASA technical standards in anticipation of future FAR-based acquisitions.
