The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to award a sole source contract to Epivax, Inc., located in Providence, Rhode Island, for access to their proprietary web-based protein analysis website. This access is crucial for investigators working on a Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA)-funded project focused on analyzing immunogenic regions of proteins. Epivax is uniquely positioned as the sole owner and manufacturer of these specialized computational immunology algorithms, making them the exclusive provider of this capability. This notice serves as an announcement of the government's intent rather than a solicitation for competitive bids, and no formal solicitation documents have been issued. However, other firms that believe they can meet the requirements within the specified timeframe are invited to submit written notifications and supporting evidence within six calendar days from the publication date. These responses will be evaluated, but the government retains sole discretion to proceed without competition. If no alternative responses are received, USAMRAA will move forward with awarding the contract solely to Epivax.
