Number: HE1254-09-T-0025 Notice Type: Special Notice Synopsis: The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), Procurement Office, 4040 N. Fairfax Dr, Arlington, VA, intends to award sole source commercial contract on or about 8 Sep 09, to JAMF Software LLC, 1011 Washington Ave, S, Suite 350, Minneapolis, MN 55415-1264, to provide Casper Client Management Suite including inventory, license, and warranty management for 1 year from the date of award. This notice document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-33 effective 15 July 2009. The North American Industry Classification System Code [NAICS] is 511210 and the size standard is $25,000,000.00. JAMF Software LLC is the only vendor that can satisfy the governments need for the following reasons. No other single vendor offers the breadth and depth of capabilities for Macintosh systems management as does the JAFM Software Casper Suite. The software is proprietary to JAMF Software, of authorized warranty service, updates and support. Place of performance/licensing will be at DoDEA HQ, Arlington, VA; Department of Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools, Peachtree City, GA; Department Of Defense Dependents Schools-Europe (DODDS-E) Wiesbaden, GE; and DODDS-Pacific, Okinawa, JA. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals. DO NOT submit a bid/quote at this time. Any offerors believing they can provide the software licensing and maintenance agreement from JAMF Software, LLC. or an equal that meets all of the features and functions of the requirement described above may provide evidence for consideration. The information must explain the company's ability to overcome the restriction of proprietary rights and provide evidence that supports the offeror's claim they can provide all services with properly qualified personnel as identified in the agreement. All qualified sources may submit a response, which if timely received, will be considered by this agency. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a competitive procurement can be conducted. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received NLT 1100 am EDT on 2 September 2009. Responses received after this will be considered late IAW FAR 52.212-1(f) and may not be evaluated.
