The US Consulate General Hermosillo, Mexico intends to award a solesource, firm-fixed-price purchase order to TOTAL PLAYTELECOMUNICACIONES for a 12-month period of performance for the acquisition of 100 Mbps dedicated internet services to be provided at the Consulate facilites located in Blvd, Juan Navarrete 291 Col. Raquet club in Hermosillo, Sonora Mexico. Given this is a follow-on requirement, the Contracting Offcer has determined that it is in the Government's best interest to sole source this requirement.
Sole Source Justifcation:
The 100 Mbps dedicated internet services to be provided are a follow-on requirement with the vendor that is currently providing these services. The incumbent contractor is the most reliable ISP in the area, with propietary infraestructure capable of providing full redundancy across our range of circuit vendors. Over the years, they have consistenly proven to be dependable and highly responsive. Tecnical support is prompt and unplanned requests are addressed quickly. Total Play is the only vendor offering an online circuit monitoring tool, enhancing visibility and management of our connections.The presence of local, accessible
representatives further contributes to a highly postiive working relationship.
