Full Description

The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE) intends to negotiate a sole source (brand name) furniture blank purchase agreement (BPA) for The Human Resource Command, Alexandria VA. The customer requires that the contractor be able to design, provide n ew furniture, parts, disassemble, store, move, reassemble furniture and be compatible with existing furniture. These supplies and services will be needed during the base realignment and closure which will ultimately move the organization from Alexandria, VA to KY. The reconfigurations require that any new furniture be able to exchange parts with our existing furniture. The inclusion of a different furniture line would greatly hinder our reconfiguration ability and consequently our productivity. In additi on any contractor selected must be authorized to reconfigure existing furniture otherwise the lifetime warranty will be voided by the manufacturer. Therefore, a sole source contract to authorized Rosemount furniture distributors is required. This announcem ent is in accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(2). The point of Contact is Mr. Julian O.
