PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED.This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to procure on an other than full and open competitive basis, (1) TECAN Fluent 480 with Scripts (See BOM for full details).

This requirement will be sole sourced to Tecan U.S., INC. 9401 Globe Center Drive Suite 140 Morrisville, NC 27560. The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334516; Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. The size standard for NAICS Code 334516 is 1000 employees. The delivery shall be within 120 days after receipt of the order.

The FBI intends to negotiate with only one (1) source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, (Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements). Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by 5:00 PM, (EST), 15 May 2026. Emailed responses will only be considered. No phone calls. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
