Full Description

The Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) intends to award a sole source commercial contract to DRS-STS, 10600 Valley View Street, Cypress, CA 90630 for twenty-five (25) upgrades from the V3 to the V5 Infra-Red Cameras, ten (10) Machine Screws, twenty (20) Knobs, ten (10) 1/8’’ Shaft Knobs, thirty (30) Incandescent Lamps, thirty (30) Clear Panel Illumination Lens Caps, thirty (30) Adhesive Stickers, and ten (10) Panel Mounted Indicating Desiccators in support of the M9 Armored Combat Earthmover (ACE) Product Qualification Test (PQT). These components have been previously designed and produced by DRS-STS specifically for the M9 ACE. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. Section 2304 © (1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition regulations (FAR) 6.302-1 “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.?
