The Hawaii Army National Guard intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract to Inland Technology, Inc. for the procurement of 15 initiation kits. Each kit includes one IT-48WC weapons cleaning system, a case of EdgeTek filters, and a 55-gallon drum of MIL-PRF-680 Type II class solvent. The decision to standardize the weapons cleaning systems is based on inventory and maintenance considerations, as the IT-48WC is already in use by HIARNG units. This procurement is a priority due to the necessity of having these systems available on-island and on-site for annual training, with a required delivery date no later than June 21, 2002. This notice serves as an announcement of the intent to award and is not a solicitation or request for proposals. No telephonic requests or additional solicitations will be entertained. If no responses are received within fifteen days, the contract will be awarded to Inland Technology, Inc. The contracting agency overseeing this procurement is the W7M4 Uspfo Activity Hawaii Army National Guard, located in Kapolei, Hawaii.
